Blessed Are The (Vegan) Cheesemakers: A Trip to Riverdel

In 2008, I did a vegan cheese tasting. Boy, have things changed since then. I remember the leg work and hoops of getting that variety of vegan cheeses altogether. Now, in 2015, Riverdel, a cheese shop in Brooklyn, does all of that for you!
What’s better is that they weed out the crud. They house only the worthy vegan cheeses. And they know their stuff. And they help you know your stuff with free samples and a selection of sandwich options. They even have a housemade cheese and butter.
Congrats to them for this well-timed vegan endeavor. I look forward to better access to a large variety of vegan cheeses!
