Happiness is…

Did you have this book when you were a kid? I did. I remember loving it. And poof! A (maybe) far-too-introspective child was created, with a deep love for the under-dog. Pure and poignant Charles Shulz. Is there an equivalent today? Maybe there are iPad apps? Not sure.

Happiness is getting an old train on the way home.

Happiness is keeping some parts of you a kid.

Happiness is colorful tchotchkes.

Happiness is a pumpkin on a stoop. Or two pumpkins on a stoop. And a bright red house.

Happiness is a Tuesday gift.

Happiness is deep-fried. Corn and cilantro fritters.

Happiness is an imperfect pumpkin.

Happiness is being inside ‘the now’, despite their best efforts.
