I Have OCD.

That’s Obsessive Confection Disorder, “kinder, gentler sweets” that are all-vegan and all-delicious. I ordered a sampler from VeganCuts. The sale price sealed the deal. As did that words: “Vanilla Bean Caramel with Sweet & Sara Vanilla Mallows tucked inside, then covered with dark chocolate.” Yes.

The sampler included 2 twist-tied Vanilla Bean Caramels. Coconut milk, evaporated cane juice, agave nectar, unsulphured molasses, coconut better, vanilla bean, sea salt and Boom! I love how there is vegan caramel now. Starting my vegan journey in the mid-nineties, I don’t take things like vegan caramel for granted.

But here is the real deal stuff: Dark Mal, an homage to the short-lived Star Wars villain Darth Mal, of course. This scrumptious concoction is their vanilla bean caramel and a Sweet & Sara vanilla marshmallow covered in bittersweet chocolate. Seriously good.

Next up was their Ruthless Mama, clearly an elevated and vegan version of Baby Ruth. It’s slightly rocky chocolate coating, soft peanuts covered in caramel brought back memories of cherished halloween candy bites. With each bite, I was getting a more pronounced case of OCD.

Let’s look at that bit closer.

Next up, their Sweet Stix.What a fantastic texture these had… like crispies… along with their stellar caramel again. Heavenly bite after heavenly bite. This sampler did me in. Yet another amazing vegan confectionary making downright delicious vegan treats. Now I’ll have to try all their other goods.
