Impending Summer

With design ideas for my next year classroom fresh in my brain, I took another trip to my happy place: Materials for the Arts.
Light summer drafts to cut the deep-friend delights of the Pickle Shack is the perfect end to a sun-drenched day. Also pictured: a roasted asparagus, pickled beet and cashew cheese smeared sandwich.
Fig season in effect and a ton of summer plans on the horizon. Hearing I was eating a fig, my student asks, “do they make those from Fig Newtons?”
