The Storm: Hurricane Sandy Hits

The water came…
The lights went out…
The basement was flooded, but not like the neighbors (over 4 feet of water). This was because of the pitch of the house.
The car became the phone charger…
I was on food duty. Lights out in the grocery storm. People were panicked but orderly.
Non-perishables in the pantry would hold us over. 
I cleaned the refrigerator since it was emptied…
Oil is the puddles on the street…
