Abandoned Cove Haven Poconos Resort πŸ’”
Mysterious Find in the Land of Love

A truly fascinating place, we explored Cove Haven‘s boundaries from end to end. One late afternoon before we headed to happy hour to soak in the evening’s entertainment, we stumbled upon three cabins on the outer edge of the Resort. They had a different feel than the rest of the place. They felt isolated and long neglected–a distinct feel that we were honed to having explored together many times. We pulled over, intrigued. How could these abandoned structures be sitting here adjacent to active areas?

I had put a couple of those abandoned honeymoon resorts on our itinerary if there was time… but they were both an hour away from Cove Haven, though still in the Poconos. But this was delightfully easy and all the more baffling. The door was open, like it had been waiting for me for decades. Could I be able to explore abandoned remains during this same trip, so potent with many of my favorite things? Yes, it turns out that this was the case.

Long neglected and looking beautiful. Like me? LOL

I was fixated on the purple tub.

Note to readers: Carpet doesn’t really mold when on the walls! So put carpet on the walls.

The fireplace

Ok, I’m back at the tub… with a light.

Because the tub lights were not working

Pink, red and purple. Yes, yes, and yes.

Here is a strange shot of what I kept saying must have been a ghost.

Watch the video of the Live image and you be the judge. What the heck is that?

So amazing to have stumbled upon this small little abandoned cabin. The other two cabins were locked unfortunately. But a peek through their windows showed they were not in the same state as the open cabin. Decidedly not abandoned-looking with no rot or mildew. Perhaps making this stop even more mysterious.
